TRAIN WITH US
You don't need any previous experience or formal qualifications prior to getting started. You just need to have a passion for teaching others.
Our swimming instructor recruitment pathway, enables you to become an STA qualified swimming instructor for just £49* (usually £425) with guaranteed contracted or casual teaching hours once qualified.
STA Level 2 Award In Teaching Swimming
The Award will develop your vocational skills and technical knowledge, so you can independently teach your very own class of 12 participants from non-swimmers/beginners up to improvers (children and adults). The course is 5 days including final assessment.

STA Award in Aquatic Teaching - Baby and Pre-School
The STA Award in Aquatic Teaching – Baby and Pre-School Swimming qualification aims to produce teachers who can teach aquatic activities, including paddle strokes to babies, toddlers and pre-school children during adult and child lessons.

We'll support you throughout your training and provide mentoring as you start your swimming instructor career with us. In return you'll commit to delivering at least one weekly set of swimming lessons for us for 12 months upon qualification.**
We also offer non-funded places on our training courses to help you on your Swimming Instructor career path. You will not be required to sign a training agreement with us should you take this option but the full course fee of £425 is payable upon enrolment.
We are an Approved Training Centre (ATC) with Safety Training Awards (STA), the Awarding Organisation of the Swimming Teachers Association (STA), which is a membership organisation and a registered charity.
*£49 paid to STA for membership once Training Agreement is approved and you are successfully signed up to the course.
**You will be subject to DBS and recruitment checks. If leaving prior to the end of the 12 month training agreement the full course fee of £425 will be payable.

What You Need
An industry recognised Level 2 qualification in teaching swimming
Exceptional communication skills and experience in a customer facing environment, able to respond appropriately & professionally to everyone you interact with in all manners.
