We have Health Suites at Danes Camp Leisure Centre and Mounts Baths Leisure Centre. We offer saunas and steam rooms.
We offer general and family sessions. Our health suite facilities are open 7 days a week.
Danes Camp Health Suite
Our Health Suite at Danes Camp offers a Sauna and Steam Room.
Sauna
Our wood cabin sauna has wooden benches for bathers with a higher bench for those who like it really hot and the lower cooler bench for beginners and respite.
Hot air encourages perspiration by opening the skin's pores, drawing out impurities and deep cleansing the skin. The heat also involves a temporary change in circulation, diverting the blood supply to the skin.
Taking a cold or cool shower reverses this effect contracting the blood vessels in the skin leaving you refreshed and invigorated.
Steam Room
The steam room temperature is lower and the humidity higher than a sauna, allowing you to sweat sooner. It has the same deep cleansing benefits and makes you feel refreshed and invigorated.
Health Suite Opening Times
Please note last admissions are 8.30pm Monday-Friday.
Family sessions are for children over the age of 8 and under 14's must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Children under the age of 8 are not permitted to use the Health Suite.

If you are pregnant or receiving medical treatments you should consult your doctor before using these facilities
For safety reasons under 14s cannot use the Health suites unaccompanied
Swim wear must be worn at all times
Shower before using
Remove all items of jewellery
No fragrances or oils are permitted to be used
