What do I need to bring with me?
Please ensure you wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for exercising. You will also need a drink of water readily available; there are water fountains at all sites.
What topics are covered?
We will cover a variety of topics to help you on your weight loss journey including, Portion Sizes, How to, Read Food Labels , Fats & Sugars, Snacking & Fast Food
What facilities are available?
All sites have lockers available, operating on a padlock system. Full changing facilities and showers are also available at all sites. Free and easily accessible car parking is also available (Please note we operate a Parking eye system at Lings Forum, you will need to input your car registration details into the Ipad located at reception).
How hard will the exercise class be?
The physical activity element of the course is designed specifically for people who are overweight and / or new to exercise. All activity is easily adaptable to make it as easy, or as hard as you are comfortable with on any given day. Most importantly we pride ourselves on these sessions being fun!
What type of topics do you cover in the education session?
We cover a variety of topics in our group talks including portion size control, how to read a food label and what to look for, the importance of physical activity and what is available locally, plus helping you to set realistic goals and identify your internal and external triggers that may be leading you to adopt unhealthy behaviours. The talks are informal and encourage you as a group to problem solve and, most importantly, give you tips as to how to put the theory into practise at home. There is no complicated points based calorie counting system here!
How many sessions do I have to attend?
You will be required to attend weekly for the full 12 week programme, alongside an initial meeting with a Trilogy instructor prior to week 1, at week 12 and week 26. Failure to attend 2 or more successive classes will result in you being withdrawn from the Programme and your membership cancelled.
What will my Trilogy membership include?
Unlimited access to our Trilogy gyms, swimming pools, fitness classes and off peak racket sports.
What can I expect to achieve?
The results speak for themselves! Not only have previous participants lost those important kgs, but we want to help you start making long term manageable behaviour changes including building that all important self-esteem! We firmly believe you will get as much out of this course as you put in.
What support is available after the course finishes?
Your instructor will be able to guide you through the options available to help support you on your weight loss journey after you have completed your 12 weeks.
