TRILOGY SWIMMING POOLS
We do not take advance bookings for swim sessions, please just turn up. Please remember our centres are cashless and can only accept card payments.
Our swimming pool at Cripps Recreation Centre is for members only and is not available to under 16s unless attending swimming lessons.
About Our Swimming Pools
We operate four swimming pools across Northampton. Danes Camp, Lings Forum and Mounts Baths are open to our members and the public. Cripps Recreation Centre is a member’s only pool and it is not available to under 16s unless attending swimming lessons. Member swim times can be found here.
Please note we operate a strict policy for children under the age of 8. A ratio of two children under 8 years old must be supervised by one adult (16+) at all times. For our 11+ Fitness Swim Sessions, customers must be able to swim at least 50 metres of a recognised stroke and children age 11-13 must be accompanied in the water by an adult (14+ can attend by themselves).

THE LITTLE THINGS
You are welcome to bring your towel and wear (clean!) flip flops on poolside
We sell a wide range of goggles, swimming aids and swim nappies. So no need to panic if you've left something at home!
For Children Under 4 Years of Age:
Double-Nappy System:
Disposable or Reusable Swim Nappy: This is the first layer that helps contain any accidents.
Neoprene Swim Nappy: A snug-fitting neoprene nappy should be worn over the swim nappy. It should have close-fitting leg and waist ribs to ensure everything is securely contained.
For Children 8 Years of Age and Older:
One-Piece Swimsuit: A classic option, providing full coverage and ease of movement.
Swimming Tankinis (Long Top): Offers a two-piece option with the coverage of a one-piece.
Swimming Bikinis: A two-piece option that is suitable for those who are comfortable with less coverage.
Burkini Swimming Costume: A modest, full-coverage swimsuit.
Skirted Swimsuits: Combines a one-piece with a skirt for added coverage and style.
Swim Shorts: Comfortable and practical, often preferred for more active swimming.
Swim Trunks: Typically worn by boys, these are loose-fitting and comfortable.
Swim Briefs: A more fitted option for boys, like trunks but with a snugger fit.
What Not to Wear in the Pool:
Non-Swimwear Specific Attire:
Regular clothes, including cotton t-shirts, jeans, or any material not designed for swimming, should be avoided. These can be heavy when wet, hinder movement, and may introduce contaminants into the pool.
Always choose swimwear made from materials designed to withstand chlorine and other pool chemicals while ensuring safety and comfort in the water.
