It only takes 30 minutes of activity per day to become fitter, healthier and happier. 
 
We have an exciting programme of 50+ activities designed to help you get fit, make new friends, stay healthy, feel great and have fun. 

50+ Activity Days 

What is a 50+ Activity Day? 
Our 50+ Activity Days are multi-activity sessions run by a dedicated 50+ Coordinator.  
 
Choose from swimming, fitness classes, badminton, table tennis and use of the gym. Free tea and coffee is included in each day and they are a great way to meet friends, stay fit and have fun! Our 50+ Buddies are also on hand to make you feel welcome and show you round. 
 
Where and when do they take place? 
Duston Sports Centre - Tuesdays 8am-12pm and Thursdays 8am-1pm 
Danes Camp Leisure Centre - Tuesdays 11.30am- 3pm 
Cripps Recreation Centre - Wednesdays 9am-1pm 
Lings Forum Leisure Centre - Fridays 8am-12.30pm 
 
How much do they cost? 
50+ Activity Days are FREE for Supergold and 55+ Members.  
Leisure Card Holders £6.00  
Non Members £8.75 
 
How do I book a place? 
Spaces must be booked before attending Activity Days. You can do this online or by calling our customer service team on 03330 439 900 from 8 days in advance. 
Our 50+ Coordinator will book you onto classes on your arrival. These cannot be booked in advance and there is no ability to double book activities or reserve places for others. 
 
 
 
Do I need to book? 
It is essential that you book prior to attending our centres for a 50+ Activity Day. You can either book online here or call our customer service team on 03330 439 900. Bookings can be made from 8 days in advance. 
 
How do I sign up to the classes available to me on the day? 
Our 50+ Coordinator will be on hand as you arrive to register you to your chosen activity. There is no ability to pre-book classes before you arrive. Please also note that to make sure we have fair usage of classes and activities customers will not be able to double book onto the same activity or hold places for others. 
 
What if I cannot book onto a class due to it being full? 
Unfortunately we are not always able to accommodate everyone on all of the classes available during the morning. However, depending on the site you visit, attending the 50+ day allows you to use the gym, play badminton and table tennis, as well as enjoy a tea or coffee in our *CoffeeBox. (*Duston Sports Centre only). Our coordinator and dedicated volunteer 50+ Buddies are on hand throughout the morning to welcome you, answer questions and assist with fair usage of activities. 
 
Do I need to bring my own Yoga mat? 
Yes unfortunately we are unable to provide Yoga mats at this time. Please bring your own mat with you. 
 
Can I borrow a table tennis bat/ badminton racket/ squash racket? 
Yes. It is preferable if you bring your own, however, we will be operating a self-serve and sanitize station if you do not have your own. 
 
Are showers and lockers available? 
Yes.  
 
Are free self-serve tea and coffee refreshments available? 
Yes.  
Duston Sports Centre - hot drinks available on request from the CoffeeBox 
Danes Camp - hot drinks available as a self serve and overseen by the activity coordinator  
Lings Forum - available to takeaway from the CoffeeBox at reception 
Cripps Recreation Centre - please bring your own cup, hot drinks available as a self serve
